Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. If you visit the login page you will see a link to recover your password and/or username. You'll need to verify your email address to prevent others from being able to reset your password. If you don't remember what email address you used to register or have other problems using automated recovery, feel free to drop us a line and tell us what happened. We'll be more than happy to help.
We understand that many athletes (especially the younger ones) may share a family email address. Unfortunately, we can not allow duplicate email addresses for privacy and security reasons. This also helps make sure notification emails go to the right person.
If you do not have a unique email address for your account, you can get one for free using services like Zoho, Gmail, or Yahoo! Mail.
Anyone can register on SkiClubZ.com. After registration, you will see a welcome wizard that will walk you through the account setup process.
There are two account types: "fan" and "pro". Fans will always be free; this account type is perfect for family and friends. They can watch videos of people they're following, but not join groups, upload video, or have videos assigned to them (along with a few other limitations). Pros will need to upgrade (see below), but they have far more privileges. This account type is meant for athletes, coaches, club administrators, etc.
SkiClubZ.com offers two payment plans: a monthly subscription at $12USD/month, or a yearly subscription at $99USD/year, for individual athletes. Organizations may purchase accounts in bulk for their athletes at a significantly reduced rate. You can also upgrade using a promo code.
All subscribers have access to our entire video analysis package, as well as the ability to join Groups within an Organization (and view all videos and events from that particular Organization), so sign up today to take advantage of all the features SkiClubz.com has to offer!
Promo codes are an alternate way of upgrading your account. We use them for organizations who want to make bulk purchases, so their athletes can use the promo codes to upgrade to pro accounts for free. Promo codes can have different upgrade durations, so the promo code "promo1" may provide a one month upgrade while "promo2" is a full year. This is so that organizations can have flexibility in terms of how they want to pay.
Promo codes can be attached to email invitations sent by coaches/managers. In this case, you don't need to do anything! Accepting the invitation will automatically apply the attached code to your account to give you a pro upgrade.
You can also manually enter a code on your payments page. You can get here by following the "Payments" link in the site header or from your settings page. Just enter the code and you're good to go.

It's easy! When you log in, go to your Dashboard (it should be the first page you encounter, but if not, use the link at the top of the page that says "Dashboard"), and click on the "Search for more users" button in the "Following/Followers" box.
At the next page, enter the name (first, last, or first and last) of the user you wish to follow in the search box, and click "Search". If the user you wish to follow is displayed, then simply click the "Follow" link next to their photo - this will send that user a notification that you've requested to follow them. Once they accept your follow request, you will be able to see their videos and events.
As with athletes, there are two ways a user may come to manage a group. The first, and most common, way to join a group as a manager is to be invited by a manager of that group or a parent group (eg. the director of your organization). In this case, you will receive a notification on your dashboard (and depending on your notification settings, you may also receive an email), giving you the ability to accept or decline the invitation to manage that group.
However, if you would like to register an account and request to manage a particular group by yourself, it is possible to do so. After you have registered, you may search for your organization; after finding your organization, select the group you would like to manage, and request to manage the group from the group's page.
Note: Your organization must have a promo code with uses remaining. Additional promo code uses can be requested for managers at no additional cost.
The simplest way to get your athletes in the right group is to invite them from the group's page. You may either select pre-existing users or enter email addresses (for users who have not yet registered with the site - this can be very useful in the initial set-up phase of an organization). These users will receive an email notifying them of the fact that they have been invited to your group.
Alternatively, you may invite individual athletes from their profile page by clicking the "invite to group" link in the user's "Groups" box beneath their profile picture. Next, select which group you would like to invite the user to, and they will receive a notification on their Dashboard to either accept or decline your invitation.
Users may also request to join groups by finding them via the Organizations page. In this case, after the user has requested to join your group as an athlete, you will receive a notification on your Dashboard to either accept or decline their request.
At SkiClubZ.com, you may upload a video one of two ways. From the buttons on the left side of the "Videos" page (or via links on your Dashboard), you may either upload a video directly from a DV camera (using magnetic tapes to store data) or, using our Drag-and-Drop uploader, you may select video files from your computer or from a Hard-drive or Flash memory camera (see "System Requirements to Upload Video" for more information).
Both of the uploaders allow you to upload videos to a user and to an event, and allow you to set other data about a video, such as the type of event and the discipline of the athlete's performance. It is recommended that you create your events before you upload videos to them - this way, your event(s) will be available from either uploader, and will allow you better control over how your videos are organized.
Yes, you most definitely can. The athlete who the video is assigned to as well as any manager of a group or that group's parent group may change the details of any video from an an athlete in that group. If you meet these conditions, click on the "Edit Details" button in the box to the upper right of the video. This will allow you to change any of the data associated with that particular video (eg. Event, Title, Athlete, etc.).
Users who belong to the same organization can watch your videos. Users who do not belong to your organization (including friends and family with fan accounts) will need to request to follow you and if you accept their request, they will be able to watch your videos (see also: System Requirements to Watch Video).
As with videos, only those users in your Organization(s) and your followers can see information about your events. If there is a specific user you would like to be able to see your events and videos, you can find them here, go to their profile, and invite them to follow you using the link below their profile picture.

Yes, indeed you can. For instance, if another coach wants you to manage a group, they may invite you to do so (you will receive a notification).
Go to your "settings" page (which can be accessed through your dashboard by a link under your profile picture, or via the link in the upper right corner of your screen), and select the "Notifications" tab. Here you will be able to choose which types of notifications send you an email. When you have made your selection(s), press the save button, and you're done!
As with the previous question, access your "settings" page, and click on the button that says "Subscription Details & Payment Options." From the next page, you will be able to change your subscription, update your payment type, or downgrade/discontinue your account, should you wish to do so.
On the video's page, look for the link that says "Download" below the video itself (it has a little green downward-facing arrow next to it) and click it to download the video.
Note: This feature is only available to Athletes & Managers.
